Company directors
Tony Ratcliffe
Group Chairman
As the founder and owner of Paxton, Tony now has the role of Group Chairman. Whilst relying on the Group Chief Executive and respective Managing Directors to run the group companies, he still provides guidance and suggestions during regular meetings.
Tony's vision, stability and financial investment are responsible for making Paxton the successful company it is today.
Adam Stroud
Group Chief Executive
As CEO of Paxton Access Ltd, Adam leads the board of directors in managing the company and establishing strategy. This includes the key business areas of product development, sales, manufacturing, logistics, customer support and finance.
As Group Chief Executive, Adam is responsible for overseeing the strategy for all companies in the Paxton group. These include Gendis Ltd (an engineering company specialising in bespoke projects and niche markets), Paxton Inc (US sales and support office) and Paxton GmbH (German sales and support office).
Paul Rawlinson
Operations Director
Paul is responsible for procuring all the component stock required to manufacture and assemble the products that we sell. He also ensures that our manufacturing facility runs smoothly and all processes are followed resulting in cost effective quality products packed ready for despatch to our customers around the world.
Gareth O'Hara
Sales and Marketing Director
Gareth is responsible for management, planning and direction of Paxton's Sales and Marketing activities. A specific area of focus for Gareth is the development of sales channels in key export markets. In order to achieve our financial objectives we must replicate the sales success we have had in the UK, elsewhere in the world. Key markets for Paxton's future include China, India and the Middle East.
Vinny Parekh
Group Finance Director
Vinny has the responsibility of running the finance element for all Paxton Group companies. We aim to have first-class reporting and visibility of business information in order to facilitate good decision making throughout the company. It is important that the complex data is presented in an appropriate format to ensure the salient facts are communicated effectively. This is an area that Vinny specialises in.
Paul Bannister
Research Director
Paul is responsible for undertaking technical research projects for Paxton. When developing new products, we will often be required to use a new form of technology of which we have no pre-existing understanding. A research project will be commissioned by the 'System design' team to investigate, experiment with, and understand the new technology. The results of a research project will normally include a written report and a working proof of concept to demonstrate functionality. Having an understanding of a technology before it is handed over to Development, means that we reduce the risk attached to projects and can increase the focus on quality and the accuracy of timescales.
